Discover more from No Ordinary Strategy
Hello 👋,
If you’re reading this, it’s because you’re a subscriber of my newsletter, No Ordinary Strategy.
Regarding this newsletter, I have good news and I have bad news.
Let’s start with the bad news.
Bad News 😞
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. As my personal and professional interests have changed, I no longer have the time to write long-form articles about strategy. That means that No Ordinary Strategy as it is today will end, but it will give way to something better…
Good News 🤩
The good news is that the newsletter isn’t completely ending, it’s just changing form !
I’ve been working for a Fintech company for the last couple years and will most likely be staying in this industry for some time to come. I’ve been paying close attention to the trends in the industry and have met with a lot of Fintech companies as part of my job.
As a result, I’ve decided to pivot my newsletter to be more closely in line with my experiences.
So … 🥁🥁🥁
I am very excited to announce that I’m launching a new newsletter: Fintech in 5

Fintech in 5
My mission with Fintech in 5 is to give you a weekly recap of the most important fintech stories and insights in 5 mins or less, with a touch of humor.
Each newsletter will be composed of articles, analysis and insights.
If you work in fintech, you’ll love this. If you don’t work in fintech, you’ll learn about an industry that’s growing fast and becoming increasingly important in everyday life.
As a subscriber to No Ordinary Strategy, you’ll automatically be subscribed to Fintech in 5.
The first issue of Fintech in 5 will be sent out this week. Read it, share it and give me your feedback. I’d be curious to know what you think of it.
Updates
📬 Changing Newsletter Platform
I’ve been using the popular newsletter platform Substack for the last couple years and have recently decided to changee. While Substack works great for occasional posts, I find that as soon as users want to send posts on a more regular basis, Substack quickly comes in short.
With the goal of releasing one issue of fintech in 5 every week, I wanted to try a new newsletter platform which offers more features built around newsletter growth. So I’ve decided to switch over to Beehiiv and try it out.
If you’ve ever used Beehiiv, I’d be curious to know what you think.
☕ Coffee Chats
In addition to the new newsletter, I wanted to mention that I am also opening some slots to Coffee Chats. These will be virtual meetings where we can have informal discussions about fintech, strategy, or anything else you're interested in.
It's a chance for us to connect on a more personal level and share insights and ideas. I'll be sending out more information about how to sign up for these coffee chats in the upcoming newsletters.
If you’re interested in having a chat, send me a message on LinkedIn.
Finally, thank you for your support all this time. I hope you are as excited about this as I am ! I look forward to your feedback on the first issue.
A bientôt,
Benjamin
